We are a University of Calgary Spin-Out

Electrody is a brand of products by the University of Calgary spin-out startup Critical Care Dx. Ltd (www.CriticareDx.ca). This line of high-precision screen-printed electrode products were designed and developed by the team, after frustrations with existing alternatives on the market that could be used by our research lab to develop highly sensitive and reliable biosensors for electrochemical sensing. These alternatives were either too expensive, or too unreliable for high-precision applications requiring highly consistent and reproducible measurement from one electrode to the next.

Our research team has world-leading expertise in the area of biosensors and bioelectronics, as demonstrated by our publication record in the world-renowned peer-reviewed academic journal "Biosensors and Bioelectronics".
